Chainsaw Supply Training FAQ’s

Do I need experience to enrol in a chainsaw training course?

No prior experience is required. Our chainsaw training is designed for beginners through to experienced operators who need formal certification. You’ll learn everything from safety basics to practical cutting techniques.

How long does the chainsaw training take?

Most courses run over one day for face-to-face delivery. Blended options with online theory plus in-person practical may take slightly longer, depending on your pace of study.

Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?

Yes. Successful participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for AHCMOM213 – Operate and Maintain Chainsaws, often referred to as a “chainsaw ticket”.

Is funding available for chainsaw training in Queensland?

Eligible construction industry workers may access Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding to reduce training costs. Our team can help you check your eligibility before you enrol.
